“You might think I lost all hope at that point. I did. And as a result I perked up and felt much better.”- Yann Martel, Life of Pi

Once upon a time, our thoughts were made of crap and hay. Hey. Hey. Hey! Now they’re solid gold. Ta da!

It’s not that our grief is cured, the horrible truth disappears or a fairy godmother waves her magic wand and poof! we never have to be responsible grown ups ever again. It’s that our suffering ends.

Mental alchemy transforms darkness to day, confusion to elevated consciousness, problems to peace of mind.~

Have you read the book or seen the film?

Do you let yourself feel hopeless or wrestle with resistance?

Beach, mountains or both?

Sea food or see food?

Cake or pi?

The photo is from the Oregon coast last summer. It was a good day.
